on fear
It isn’t real. There’s nothing to be afraid of. There never was. And there never will be.
Whatever I’m wasting my very limited mortal time fearing is just me showing up to fight myself in a different and sometimes unfamiliar form, and I can choose to armor up for a fight I will always lose, or I can choose to recognize it as a vulnerable part of myself and calmly breathe it in and back out again with compassion… and it instantly disappears. And, as an added bonus, so does my ego.
So the real question is:
Why am I fighting myself?

We are ALL fighting ourselves.Yesterday I was curled up in a ball & crying in the shower over worrying about something which may not happen.
